About

"oniage" is This is a shop run by an embroidery maker in Okayama that sells souvenirs that have been designed by the maker themselves.

In Okayama City, the East Exit ( This is a town where conversations are often split between the main entrance (where the Momotaro statue is located) and the west exit.
The east exit is generally thought of as the "front" and the west exit as the "back," and oniage is located at the back of the Hokancho shopping street on the west side.
If the front is Momotaro, the back is Oni. Let's think about Okayama from the Oni's perspective and make it a new souvenir source (Onigashima).
I would be very happy if you think that this is a great souvenir that an embroidery maker would like to make.

Is the name an Okayama dialect? Or slang? Oni Age!
In this case, oniage includes elements of words such as "I was incredibly excited," "I was really excited," and "It was crazy."
The words are written in a calligraphy style with a Japanese feel that symbolizes present-day Japan, and by pronouncing them in English, they convey a worldwide understanding.

The bird's-eye view outline of the fictional "Onigashima" and the permed look of the demon's head are not bad either.

He has a career as a producer and is a hands-on artist. Music, parties, graffiti, and delinquent culture are the roots of the street scene, and there are few people in Japan who can handle that street scene as an art show.

They build connections that can only be achieved by placing emphasis on authenticity.

〜ONIAGE〜

In Japan, demons have long been considered evil, and people have discriminated against and excluded them, blaming them for everything.
We live in an age of diversity. It may become strange to say things like "Oni wa soto!" (Demons out!).
Seeing the world from a demon's perspective should allow you to see the current situation from a more multifaceted perspective.
Okayama is known for its Momotaro. But behind the scenes, there is a demon...
With this in mind, we launched the souvenir shop ONIAGE.
Souvenirs, gifts, OMIYAGE...as I wrote it it became ONIAGE.

In addition to demon-related products, we will be carrying a wide variety of items such as embroidered goods and collaborative goods with stores in the Hōkanmachi shopping district.

We aim to create a space where you can pick up products while thinking of someone in your life, so we look forward to your visit.
